Welcome to our section looking Now. Now was a channel dedicated to the arts.
Now was BSB’s equivalent of BBC 2 and was dedicated to arts and factual programmes. The channel would be the first of the BSB channels to close following the merger of BSB and Sky Television. It would be replaced with Sky News.
A seperate service was created called Sky Arts to air programmes which they were contractually required still to show. Sky Arts would be shut down once that programming was aired.
NOW IDENT (1990)
The ident for Now was designed by Martin Lambie-Nairn who had also designed the ident for the other BSB channels.
