British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)

Welcome to our section looking at the British Broadcasting Corporation, the BBC, which started out as the British Broadcasting Company on the 18th October 1922. It became a corporation and gained its current name on the 1st January 1927.

The BBC is the UK’s largest public service broadcaster, providing various services across radio and television, as well as online, not only in the UK but across the globe.

This section will take a look at the history of the BBC, and the TV channels that have been established by the corporation, past and present, along with looking at news and weather presentation and other related BBC content. We will also look at the BBC regions, BBC radio services and various other items about the corporation.
