Welcome to our section looking at the ITV Regions
When ITV was created in the 1950s, it was set up as a network of regional ITV companies who would provide local programmes to their region. Some of the larger ones would also produce programmes to be shown across either the whole or parts of the network.
This section will take a look at the history of the different ITV regions, the companies that served them and the presentation they have used on screen over the years
