Welcome to our section looking at the presentation on BBC 1 between 1991 and 1997
Out went the BBC Computer Orientated World – or COW and in came this ident. The ident was designed by Martin Lambie-Nairn who would also design the idents on BBC 2 which were introduced at the same time. This look was introduced on the 16th February 1991 and remained in use until the 3rd October 1997
