Boy Dominic was the story of the adventures of Dominic Bulman. The series starts with news that his father, Captain Charles Bulman, was lost at sea leading to Dominic. Believing that Charles had perished and the family without income, Dominic and his mother are forced to sell the family home and end up in a partnership of a drunkard called William Woodcock who owed a debt of gratitude towards Bulman as they thought together.
The series shows the Bulman family running a boarding house and trying to clear the name of the captain who had been accused of sinking his ship for the insurance money. All while this was going on, Captain Bulman was fighting in Africa to make his way home to his family.
The show ran for a single series, totalling 13 episodes. All episodes still exist and were released on DVD although this is now hard to find.
There was a spin-off series titled Dominic where an older Dominic is looking for revenge following the death of his parents.
