A Bunch of fives was set in the fictional school called Oxford Lane. The show starts off with a situation where Chris Tucker was in a newsagent where a lighter goes missing, it was not Chris who took it but he still got the blame. This leads to him, and some of his friends, starting a school magazine.
This show is a bit of a mixture of Grange Hill, which would launch between the first and second series and Press Gang, having a similar feel to the former in terms of its gritty story line and humour.
The show ran for two series, totalling 14 episodes. All episodes still exist and were released on DVD although this is now hard to find.
