The CBeebies is a digital channel from the BBC. It shows children’s programmes, having launched on the 11th February 2002
CBeebies is focused on showing programmes for children under the age of 6 with older children being served by sister channel The CBBC Channel (CBBC standing for Children’s BBC) . Since 2012, the two channels have been the place for all the corporation’s children’s television output, having moved them off BBC One and BBC Two.
