Welcome to our section looking at BBC Three

BBC Three is a digital channel from the BBC aimed at young adults. It originally launched on the 9th February 2003.

The channel would close down on the 16th February 2016 due to cuts in the corporation and became an online only service. Surprisingly, BBC Three came back as a linear channel again less than four years later on the 1st February 2022

This section will take a look at the history of BBC Three and the presentation on the channel over the years
