Take A Letter Mr. Jones... was a sitcom from Southern Television which ran for one series in 1981. The series ran for six episodes, all of which still exist. It was written by Ronald Chesney and Ronald Wolfe, who had previous success with another hit comedies, On The Buses and The Rag Trade among others.

The show is centred around a character called Graham Jones, played by John Inman. Jones was the male secretary to Joan Warner, a powerful executive at the fictitious Eight Star International. Jones would be called up to fix various issues for Mrs Warner and not always work related - often having to resolve issues with her daughter and her Italian maid. 

The show was set as being in London, however it was filmed in Barclays House in Poole, Dorset. The opening sequence of the show, featured the iconic building heavily with various exterior shots.
